This Aluminum tuning barrel is designed to replace the stock plastic barrel. The stock barrel is not large enough for certain projectiles. This will allow you to use 12.7 mm projectiles such as AR Tactical 4g .50cal projectiles as well as many chemical projectiles. Remember to always bore match your projectiles first to the barrels before using a new projectile.
